I'm not quite sure what to say but I like the idea. I'm just not sure how well they would work for paintball.

As rough as the ground is where we play, and as an expert in five and fingers, Im not sure they'ed work well for paintball at all.

My concern is.my feet getting sore but I think they would be even better for grabbing the rocks and not tripping on them.

they are great for gripping the rocks and knowing where your foot is, but offer NO support.  So you would be totally dependant on your toe and foot muscles.  Might be okay for a short game and gradually build up to longer games.  I plan on getting a pair as approach shoes for climbing, I'll let you know how that goes.

There are a few that play paintball in these.  The largest complaint is the time it takes for your body to adapt to wearing them.
Our feet are so trained to use the arch support and protection of shoes that we loose muscle support.

The folks that buy and wear these thing swear they are the best shoes ever.  With my plates I do not have the option to try them though.

I have a pair of them and I run in them around 3 miles every other day. It takes time to get uesd to them and your legs and feet are very sore for a while if you don't go slow. They are great but I don't know if i would like them for paintball. Just for the reasons of big O rocks and jumping tree's and some times tripping over my own feet because I'm going to fast  i don't think they would be good for our kind of play. Speedball yes just because "generally" its a grass field.
