A Small Favor to Ask

My girlfriend is joining me for AFW in less than two weeks. We went out and I had her try the markers I had to see what was comfortable for her. She really liked the pistols, but felt uncomfortable with the JT Tac 5 I had, and it seemed mostly because of the tank getting in the way of how she shoots. I'd really like to get her more involved in the sport, and we're looking at different markers for her to try.

Is there anyone who'd be willing to let her shoot off a few rounds with their marker at the chrono shed before or after the game? We would like to get an idea of what type of marker she'd be comfortable shooting with.

I would have my Spyder Xtra with me with an Invert Halo Too on it. If it's later in the day, I might have made a decision on the3rdsam's Etek or Boomer's Ion, which she can test out too. Either-way, I'll let her try any gun I have (Which is the Spyder at the moment )

I would be willing to say any Irregulator would allow such small favor. We all like to share our different choices in equipment and like to show new players how each one feels differnt to the shooter.

We have a huge array of guns and setups available from simple pumps to top of the line tournament guns.

All you need to do is ask. None of us willl know without you asking that you want to check out our options.

I will be head reffing during the event, but I think I could bring my Phantom and Cyborg for her enjoyment.

I learned that lesson last year at the Red Dawn Scenario. I can't think of his name, but he wasn't wearing a shirt, had on a kilt and a stuffed rabbit tied to his marker. He grabbed me coming back from a break, and we went to take out the power station, just the two of us.

I was in camo, and moving stealthy, and he totally wasn't. The defenders saw us, and then lost sight of him, which I thought was odd. After getting two of them out, he cleared out the building, and I realized anyone can hide in paintball, you just have to know what you're doing.

Which makes me admit that after 12 years of playing, I still haven't got much of a clue. Tongue
