It would probably be best if your dad put on a ref vest or played and stayed along with him, at least for the first half of the day. That way he has someone with him who can teach him and help get him out of a jam if he starts to get too intimidated.

After some talking, he decided to wait until next game and play a quick round out in our backyard after we get back from AFW. Because right now we have no paint (Besides old, rock hard bigball) or air, so he might come next time.

So, he just doesn't want to waste money just to see if he can take a paintball at all. But thanks for the age limit, we weren't sure if we should bring him anyways because we didn't know if you guys had an age limit.

Thanks anyways. Cya at AFW.

When I used to play out at Neverwood, there were occaisonally a lot of kids that would show for a birthday party or a family function.  It does a heart good to see that the next generation is at least willing to give it a try!

I'm buying paint this weekend for AFW for my girlfriend.  I wouldn't mind picking up a small case for you guys to let him try before AFW, free of charge.   I've also got some CO2 left in one of my tanks from last year that he can use.  Smiley

I can drop it off if you're local, or you guys can meet me this weekend when my girl and I go to sight in the new First Strike pistol I got.  Either way, I'd be more than happy to help him determine if he wants to play paintball!

My dad was really surprised to hear you say that Pistoleer, but he's interested. Though, we're almost 200 miles away anyways (Bonners Ferry, ID).

Thanks for offering anyways, Pistoleer. We should have paint left over from AFW for him to use when we get back with full CO2 tanks. Then he'll join us next game Cheesy

(Of course, my dad changes his mind alot, so he might take you up on that offer Wink )

Wondering what team to play on?

Here’s my paintball version of a famous Marine verse I created for last year’s Arm Forces War…

We stole the eagle from the Air Force, the anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, we over-ran his perimeter and stole his flag, and we've been owning the paintball field ever since. We live like soldiers and talk like sailors and paint the heck out of both of them.  The Air Force?... HAHA  Marines by God!!! OORAH!!!

I only need a few good paintballers...  If you play paintball with honesty and integrity and will give your team a 110% (think long and hard), I want you!  If you still haven't figured out the difference between your marker and your gun please pick another team.

My brother has his first gear finally and plans to play for the Marines. He's pretty new to paintball but he's really looking forward to playing with you.

I'd be more than happy to oblige!  I won't be able to hand deliver it, but thanks to the modern marvel of the US Postal Service, I can get it to you just the same.  If not, then I'd be happy to offer any of the paint we have left after AFW!

(The only paint I tend to keep between games is my first strike rounds.)

These --->http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2275706 are what I usually buy for the games, nothing fancy, but for some reason, they hold up better in my Tac8.   Huh

It's okay, Pistoleer. We can handle it. But thanks for your consideration for the next generation. Cheesy

I'll be sure to introduce you to my little brother when he joins us after AFW Smiley

No problem!  I'm looking forward to playing with him later this year.  I've got the games blocked off on my calendar, so I shouldn't be missing any of them this Spring/Summer.

It is pretty good paint.  I've never used it before, but it held up well enough in the Tac8 yesterday.

Went out sighted in the Tac8.1 as well.  Im really impressed with the First Strike rounds, can't wait to start sniping at AFW!
